Honey Bear Cub Care was founded with one simple goal: to create a preschool where children receive exceptional care while families feel genuinely supported.
Owner Ms. Sandra brings more than 25 years of experience in early childhood education, including time with UT Child Development Center, Hays CISD, and Manchaca United Methodist Church Child Development Center. Today, she works alongside her oldest daughter, Kelsey, continuing a family tradition of caring for children with patience, warmth, and purpose.
As a family-owned, fully licensed preschool, we understand the trust parents place in us each day. We strive to create the kind of environment where children feel safe to explore, parents feel confident leaving their little ones, and every family feels like they belong.

Each member of our team is committed to creating a classroom where children feel safe to ask questions, solve problems, build friendships, and discover new interests every day. Each member of our staff is thoroughly vetted and certified in CPR/First Aid.
With experience, patience, and genuine love for children, our teachers create learning experiences that are both engaging and meaningful while helping every child grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

One of the things families love most about Honey Bear is our beautiful campus.
Nestled on approximately four acres in Manchaca, our preschool offers bright classrooms and plenty of outdoor space where children can move, explore, and connect with nature. From our class garden to wide-open play areas, outdoor experiences are woven into each day because we believe fresh air, movement, and discovery are essential parts of childhood.
Inside, our classrooms are intentionally designed to feel warm, welcoming, and engaging. Every space encourages curiosity, creativity, and age-appropriate learning while providing children with a safe place to grow.
Honey Bear Cub Care uses Lilio!
Lilio allows our teachers to record activities and updates throughout the day. Everything from naps to snacks, it will provide you with a complete history of your child's experience in Honey Bear with photos stored safely and securely in a journal format.
Honey Bear Cub Care proudly partners with Soccer Stars to offer a seasonal soccer program, giving children a fun and engaging way to develop teamwork, coordination, and a love for the game.
