Hello! My name is Sandra, and I am the proud owner and director of Honey Bear Cub Care. With over 25 years of experience as a professional childcare provider, I followed my dream in 2021 to create a place that feels safe, nurturing, and home-like. I now have the joy of working alongside my daughter and a team of wonderful, positive teachers who share the same passion for early childhood education. We serve children ages 2 to 5 for full-time care Monday through Friday, offering a well-rounded curriculum and developmentally appropriate activities that spark curiosity and support each child’s growth.

About Honey Bear Cub Care:

Honey Bear Cub Care is a mother-and-daughter-owned childcare center in Manchaca, Texas, dedicated to creating a warm, “at-home” atmosphere for young learners. Located on several acres of land, we prioritize outdoor exploration, hands-on learning, and a strong connection to nature. Children enjoy time outside tending to our class garden, observing our friendly chickens, and engaging in active, imaginative play. Our goal is to nurture creativity, confidence, and a love for learning in a safe and supportive environment.

• Background includes UT-CDC, Hays CISD, and Manchaca United Methodist Church CDC

• Honey Bear Cub Care is fully licensed and certified

• All staff are trained in First Aid and CPR
